For use with PLA, ABS, FiberSilk, FiberSatin, PET-G
Build-plate adhesion is one of the many challenges faced during FDM printing of thermoplastic materials, be it in a domestic, professional or industrial environment. Some types of FDM materials tend to be more challenging to print with, especially in the case of engineering materials and high temperature materials. Insufficient build-plate adhesion will inevitably lead to warping or premature print failure, which in both cases results in the printed parts being rendered inadequate for use in their intended application. Insufficient build-plate adhesion thus needs to be effectively controlled in order to save time and printing material.
Magigoo is an easy-to-use 3D printing adhesive designed to address 'the first layer not sticking problem'. A strong adhesion between the 3D print and the heated build plate is ensured when applying Magigoo. However, the actual magic starts when printing is ready: just wait for the plate to cool down and then remove your prints with just a finger flick! Magigoo original works with most common 3D printing materials including PLA, ABS, PET-G, and HIPS. Regardless of you being a hobbyist or professional - it is extremely rewarding to have a 30 hour print complete without any warping and having it release easily once cooled.
How to use:
⦁ Shake the bottle.
⦁ Apply to the desired area by pressing the nib on the bed (activating the inner valve) and spreading as needed. (DO NOT SQUEEZE THE BOTTLE.)
⦁ Print according to the filament/printer manufacturers recommendations
The part should self-release or become easier to remove on cooling, in most cases the part can be directly lifted off from the plate. If the part cannot be easily removed by hand, a part removal tool can be used to gently lift the part off the build-plate.
When using a brim it is advisable to first peel off the brim around
the part and then attempt to remove the print.
